A thriller mystery, follows a family trying to unravel cryptic historic clues that may lead to a nineteenth century treasure hoard in a backcountry setting. Old historic records, a faint railroad line, and difficult terrain challenge the family and put them in peril. And they are not alone in their quest.

Very well written, with building tension, it’s a tangled but easy read.
